A UNICEF report highlights Pakistan's educational crisis, with 22.8 million children out of school due to poverty, cultural norms, and inadequate facilities. Pakistan ranks second globally for out-of-school children. About 13 million children engage in child labour, losing educational opportunities and working in hazardous conditions impacting their health and future. This perpetuates poverty and exploitation. Additionally, 1.5 million street-connected children face abuse, exploitation, and neglect, often lacking education and healthcare, leading to unsafe work or crime for survival.
Rehmat Educational Foundation is a UK-registered charity committed to providing quality education to underprivileged children in deprived areas of Pakistan. Founded by British-Pakistanis, it is supported by a broad community across the UK. We work in close collaboration with Rehmat School in Pakistan. Our mission is to educate street children and those involved in child labour by offering life skills training to help them break the generational cycle of poverty and assimilate into mainstream society.
Rehmat School's Annual Sports Gala celebrated learning, teamwork, and community. Chair Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz encouraged students, awarded prizes and stipends to support continued education. This reflects Rehmat Educational Foundation's mission to empower vulnerable children and help them break the cycle of poverty.

Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz, Chair of the Board of Trustees, inaugurated the McNeilly Learning Hub at Rehmat School, honouring Briony McNeilly’s support. The hub links students with Caistor Grammar mentors for online English lessons. He praised former street children’s progress, highlighting the foundation’s mission to educate and empower vulnerable children.

Rehmat Educational Foundation has partnered with TAKMIL Foundation to bring an Accelerated Literacy Programme to out-of-school children at Rehmat School. SNC-aligned, technology-driven lessons help students catch up from Grades 1–8 in 3 years, bridging learning gaps and expanding access to quality education.

Dr. Muddassir Javaid, an orthopaedic surgeon from the UK, recently visited Rehmat School. He honoured our students by presenting them with prizes for their outstanding achievements. Dr. Javaid also generously distributed Eidi to the children, bringing smiles and joy. Additionally, he delivered gifts from Caistor Grammar School UK, further enhancing the friendship between the two schools.
