Rehmat & TAKMIL Partner to Launch Accelerated Literacy Programme for Out-of-School Children at Rehmat School

Rehmat Educational Foundation has signed an MOU with TAKMIL Foundation to adopt their enhanced learning programme for out-of-school children in underserved areas of Pakistan. The Accelerated Literacy Programme will be implemented at Rehmat School to help children catch up from primary to elementary levels (Grades 1–8) in 3 years.

The programme delivers technology-driven, the Single National Curriculum (SNC) - aligned lessons for multi-age learners using video classes, teacher guides, and continuous assessments to ensure steady literacy progress. The curriculum has been developed in collaboration with TAKMIL Foundation and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), combining quality content with structured learning support to give every child a fair chance to succeed.

This initiative marks a major step toward bridging learning gaps and expanding access to accelerated, inclusive education for vulnerable children.
