Sahiba, Ansar, and Jabbar are siblings facing incredible challenges. Their family's struggles began when their father, battling kidney failure, became unable to work. Their mother worked in a tobacco processing yard for minimal wages to provide meals for the family. In desperate times, to ensure they had a single meal, she even had Sahiba (11 years old) and Ansar (9 years old) join her in the tobacco processing yard. Meanwhile, without supervision, 7-year-old Jabbar wandered the streets, often getting into fights with other children. None of the siblings had the opportunity to attend school.
The turning point in their lives came when they were given the chance to enrol at Rehmat School. Upon starting in February 2024, Sahiba, Ansar, and Jabbar were placed in the prep class to begin their educational journey from scratch. Initially, Ansar and Jabbar came to school barefoot, a reminder of their family's hardships.
Since enrolling, the siblings have made remarkable progress, gradually integrating with their peers and showing a keen interest in learning. They are thriving in their studies, demonstrating resilience and determination to change their future.

At just 11 years old, Asim faced the harsh realities of poverty, which forced him to work at a motorbike workshop to support his family. Without exposure to formal education, Asim lacked basic manners and often used rough language.

Rukhsar, a bright 10-year-old girl, comes from a family facing significant financial hardships. Her father works as a rickshaw driver to support Rukhsar and her younger siblings—two sisters and two brothers. Despite her parents’ deep desire to provide an education for their children, financial limitations held them back from realising this dream.
Rukhsar, who is naturally reserved but keen to learn, had no chance to attend school until Rehmat School warmly welcome her. Upon joining, she lacked even the most basic literacy skills, but her journey at Rehmat School marked a turning point.
With encouragement and support, Rukhsar's self-confidence began to flourish. Previously a silent observer, she now actively participates in school assemblies, showing her passion for learning. Her academic progress has been impressive. With dedication and effort, she achieves top marks in her class assessments, demonstrating her capability to succeed.
