The Annual Sports Gala at Rehmat School brought energy, inclusion, and community together, with the Chair of the Foundation, Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz, attending as Chief Guest. Students took part in multiple games, creating a proud and joyful opportunity especially for former street children and child-labourers now receiving education at Rehmat School.
Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz highlighted the importance of sports for physical and mental well-being, confidence, and teamwork. He praised the students’ participation, appreciated their progress, and encouraged them to continue striving for success.
To strengthen school–family engagement, musical chairs were arranged for mothers, fostering a closer bond between the school and families to support continued school attendance. Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz also distributed academic and sports prizes for student performance, along with stipends to families.
As part of the event, stipend support was provided to the families previously reliant on their child’s labour income, ensuring they can continue sending their children to school and fully support their education.
This initiative reflects the core mission of Rehmat Educational Foundation—to educate vulnerable children, strengthen literacy, and provide skills training that helps them break the cycle of poverty and build self-reliant, brighter futures.
