Dr. Zulfiqar Haider, a renowned paediatric consultant from the UK, recently visited Rahmat School to conduct medical check-ups on our students. His visit uncovered previously undiagnosed and untreated conditions such as epilepsy, asthma, and other health issues, revealing the urgent healthcare needs of our children.
This intervention has been life-changing for these students, as it has paved the way for their improved health and well-being. In response to Dr. Haider's findings, Rahmat School has swiftly organized further tests including MRI Scans, EEG and other tests including medications to address these health concerns. Recognising the socio-economic challenges faced by our students, who come from underprivileged backgrounds with limited access to healthcare, we understand the unfortunate high incidence of health issues.
To ensure continued care, Rahmat School has arranged for comprehensive treatment plans for the affected children. We have also coordinated with a local doctor for ongoing follow-up care, ensuring that our students receive the necessary attention and support as they progress on their journey to better health.
This initiative represents our commitment to providing a nurturing and healthy environment for our students, allowing them to thrive academically and personally. We are grateful for Dr. Haider's invaluable contribution and are optimistic about the positive impact this will have on our school community.
